This individual is our highly utilized technician resolving concerns at the customer residence and communicating with multiple corporate departments about needs all in order to provide an outstanding customer experience. WHAT OUR FIELD OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN DOES
 
A strong candidate is an individual with strong instincts for the balance between quality, productivity and team morale. The Field Operations Technician will need to have excellent time management and communication skills while being flexible and adaptable to our ever changing, fast-paced work environment. A strong candidate for this role will be great with customers and responsible for assisting with and monitoring the account creation to install process. Blue Raven provides an outstanding environment for growth and opportunity in our rapidly expanding Solar environment.
 
Work is primarily conducted via one of our field locations in the local area but occasional travel is required. Periodic weekend or evening work may also be required, depending on workload.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR FIELD OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN
 
– Effectively manage a schedule to complete several time sensitive tasks on a daily basis
– Work with local municipalities to submit and retrieve documents necessary for successfully completing the permitting process prior to system installation.
– If needed, turn on solar system once installation is complete and collect and share customer feedback
– Troubleshoot and resolve common inverter problems that may occur upon activation
– Coordinate remotely with our permitting project coordinator on our Bureau Ops Team about information pertaining to document retrieval
– Communicate with the Field Operations Manager on a daily basis
– This position does not require roof work
– This position only requires onsite presence at an installation as needed
 
QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR FIELD OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN
 
– Experience in professional communication with varied departments and individuals
– Ability to be responsible and accountable in an independent environment
– Possess a trustworthy and dependable nature
– Effective time management between responsibilities is a must
– Basic knowledge of home construction, home repair preferred but not required
– Licensure as a Notary Public is preferable
