The crew arrived to a red morning ski and set up the impressive amount of tools and installation hardware that goes behind these slick panels. The laughter, easy coordination and kindness of the 3 guys made a most pleasant background to my day as I watched my dream come to fruition of going solar. What a great day! Tyler and Jackson arrived promptly as scheduled and began setting up. They took time to explain what they would be looking for and what they would be doing, and patiently answered my questions. They worked non-stop until another installer arrived mid-morning; only then did I learn they were shorthanded. 2 more team members arrived during the afternoon, stepped in and did what was needed. As promised, the job was completed by 5 PM. All Blue Raven team members helped with clean up and storage. I was impressed by the installers focus, teamwork, knowledge, professionalism and pride in the job they were doing. Flawless experience. Super knowledgeable staff and responsive staff. No hiccups. The panel install was done in one day, very professional crew (OR #3). They were even nice enough to come in and say hi to our dog (he doesn't like people he hasn't met being on our property).(EDIT)Forgot to leave this in my initial review but the Foreman (Charlie) responded after hours about a leak issue (not affecting install but definitely affecting the house in a few years), sent 10+ pictures, and circled the location in a birdseye blueprint of the roof to pinpoint the location. In fact, we were told it would take a day and a half and it only took one day.The team was efficient, hard-working, knowledgeable, professional, and communicative. On the first day the met with me to explain the installation process and timing and worked to meet that schedule. Outstanding Experience.Oregon Team 3 did an outstanding job. I was impressed with the way these installers worked together to solve the few inevitable issues that arise during a real world install. They were on time (early actually), respectful of our property and did an excellent job cleaning up when they were finished.I was also VERY impressed with Oregon Team 3 Lead Charley. Design and the approval process went very smoothly. I gave them the name of my HOA, and they filled out the architectural review form completely and submitted it. It went through with no problem.Install was a little problematic as the shingles on my roof were more difficult for the installers to work with than they had anticipated. Once they figured that out, install went well despite short daylight hours (started install on Dec 21) and cold and snowy weather.

The timing was perfect when a woman came to my home and asked if I wanted to meet with a representative/sales person. Our experience was a very positive one. We appreciated from the start our salesperson, Micah, for her knowledge of the product and ability to answer our questions thoroughly. I was skeptical of the cost of solar going on my house. The Sales person was easy to talk to and was able to describe everything fairly clearly (John D.). He did come around to the entire neighborhood and tried to sell to the entire development. Permits ended up being slightly more of a hassle with the Electric Company but Blue Raven took care of all the issues. Permitting took longer than expected (almost 2.5 months). Installation was fairly quick. The Crew (Oregon #3) arrived slightly before 8am and were done about 5pm. The only issue was the scheduler on the phone stated they would be there between 6:30 and 7am. I was slightly worried about them not showing up. The electrician had to shut the power off for only 10 minutes (versus 1.5 hours quoted on phone). He only had to enter twice to access the attic and left the area clean. Charlie explained the two outside boxes clearly and showed what needed to be done in any cases outside. They left the outside clean of all debris. I am still waiting on final inspections and installation of a net meter to actually use the product, but every so far has exceeded my expectations.read more

This is just on the installation. They two guys did great. A little rowdy early in the morning but over all once they started to work they were great. The foreman on the job explained what to expect and answered my questions clearly and honestly. They picked up the mess and made sure the little dents in our new gutters was banged out; caused by the ladder. This was the easiest part of the process. Done in one day!

The gentlemen arrived right when they said they would, and got right to work. It was about 100 degrees that day, and probably even hotter on the roof, but they busted their tails all day, and kept a positive attitude. They finished about 2 hours ahead of schedule, and the installation looks great. They also took the time to answer all of my questions before they left. The installers were efficient and professional. They were mindful of our property and cleaned up the area upon leaving.However, one of the installers damaged our bedroom ceiling when working in the attic. We contacted the company and they placed a work order for the repair. That was only yesterday.I would suggest a walk through for future jobs prior to leaving to assess if any damage occurred during installation.The electrician came the very next day to complete his part of the job, he too was efficient and professional, explaining everything that we needed to know.We are waiting for final inspection before we can use the system, but are excited about it.read more

Great experience so far. The salesman, Parker, was knowledgeable and professional. He didn't leave me with questions. I have since talked to him about a few inquiries and concerns and he has promptly found answers or had the right people call me back.The installation team was great. They showed up early and stayed late to get the job done in one day instead of the scheduled two days. I just had solar panels installed at our new home by Blue Raven and I would highly recommend them. I have been very impressed with the company from the sales person, customer service, net zero, engineering, plans, and especially installation. The installation was outstanding. They did a great job and the panels look atheistic pleasing. They were very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I was informed they would be at the site at 8am and they were right on time. The installation team was suppose to be three but one had got hurt, so two did the work. They did very well and finished on time. The electrician came later in day and completed the work. Very though and did a great job. One thing I was concerned with is how the installation team was carrying up the panels on the ladders. It was very unsafe and someone is going to get hurt badly or worse. The company should look at safety equipment like a conveyor belt, winch and pulley or forklift to get the panels up to the roof. It will save the company time and money and save life’s. Would also suggest hiring more electrician s. Seemed to be short handed. Overall an outstanding company and serviceread more

Started with a knock. Blue raven was easy to work with from the canvasser to the install. We worked with them on what our future electric needs were to get a system that would allow us to grow and be energy independent. They were quick with design plans. The hardest part was the wait for approval from the city. I am very satisfied with their customer services. During install there was a small hiccup with the thermostat. They had a hvac installer out same day to get us back up and runner. Each time I have had to call, the hold times have almost been nonexistent. I got quotes from 3 other companies and they were the best priced and fastest to respond.read more

My installers were fantastic! Showed up on time, very friendly, explained things thoroughly. Stayed masked up while in the house (yay covid). My attic access is in my hallway, so I avoided mopping because some of the insulation usually floats it’s way down - they vacuumed up and left no trace. The panels look amazing! Made sure to announce themselves going in and out of the house even though I had the door propped open, very thoughtful. My experience with Blue Raven Solar has been absolutely fantastic! They contacted me directly via solicitation to our house and I am very happy that I gave them the time of day. Before I was even a customer they had done their due diligence and determined that I was a good candidate for solar. After talking with their rep I scheduled a follow up with their salesperson. Parker was very knowledgeable and professional. He helped us determine that for about $10 more a month than we are paying for our power we could purchase solar panels.After we determined to purchase the solar panels Blue Raven pretty much took care of everything in a very expedient manner. They sent someone over to photograph the roof and developed a design. They submitted for permits quickly and scheduled construction soon after the permits were issued. It took their crew about a day to install the panels and do the electrical work. As an added bonus they gave us a free EcoBee smart thermostat as well as a bunch of LED lights. There was an issue when they installed the thermostat and Blue Raven promptly scheduled a HVAC technician to come over and fix the issue.From the beginning consult to the final install it has been an absolute fabulous experience. Great alternative power source however the misleading ads on facebook about free solar power is in correct. You are required to apply for a loan through them so you have to pay the loan off prior to actually getting any kick back. Your electric bill does go down but what you save on that bill is not much compared to the loan payment you are paying in addition. The loan has kick back to the electric company by the way so what you save is being recouped through the loan.

The Blue Raven crew was here yesterday for the primary install of the solar panels in miserable rainy weather. They did this pretty quickly, and were all nice and professional. The electrician installed the ecobee as well, and walked me through how to use it, with tips about registration and app install that helped. One inverter was dysfunctional, so one of the installers replaced it later in the day on his commute home. This was a good crew, which makes me feel good about the organization overall. Another person will be shoring up rafters soon, and there is more to come, but it's off to a very good start. My cat, however, is sleeping in the closet again today 😉read more
