The National Resource Defense Council (NRDC) reports the average U.S. household spends roughly $2,000 annually on electric bills. By limiting their energy usage, individuals, families, and communities can potentially reduce the cost of utility bills. With more energy-efficient living, more jobs are also being created. More than 2.1 million people have jobs in energy efficiency as of 2022.
